Kendriya Vidyalaya Baddowal Cantt is an English medium
co-educational school.The Vidyalaya was established in July 1984 to cater to the needs of the children of defence personnel serving in the installations of Dholewal Cantt. & Jagraon Bridge, Paramilitary forces like ITBP, Central excise, Banks and other Govt. & Semi Govt. organizations.It is located in the campus of 17 FAD Baddowal Cantt which is situated on the Ferozepur Road about 8 Km. from Ludhiana City. The cantonment which houses the Vidayalaya is safe, secure nestled in sylvan surroundings, far from the polluted environment of Ludhiana.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

The School aims at harmonious and all round development of student in the field of Art, Literature, Science, Games, Sports, Co-Curricular and other activities and make them enlightened, responsible and useful citizens of the world as whole, capable of contributing effectively to the realization of higher values of life. The school provides a healthy and congenial atmosphere necessary for intellectual, aesthetic, physical and moral growth of the students and inculcates in them love for the Indian way of life and tradition and respect for noble and higher values of universal brotherhood.

Today's students are the future of the nation. I feel proud to see the team of Laborious teachers of Kendriya Vidyalaya Baddowal Cantt working hard with the students to guide them to be polished Citizens of Tomorrow. I am sure under the able guidance of Principal Mrs Nisha Yadav. The school will scale even greater height. My advice to the students "face everything boldly, accept challenges and overcome all the obstacles in life".
