Workshop of Art & Craft (24th April to 14th May 2008)

          A workshop of Art and Craft was organized in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Baddowal Cantt. from 24th April to 14th May by the Drawing Teacher of the Vidyalaya Mr. Joginder Singh. He did an excellent job to bring out the hidden potentialities and talents of the students in the form of various types of paintings, mask-making, stencil-paintings, masps making, paper-sculpture, cartoon making, portrait making, greeting-cards, puppets and thermocol painting & colouring.

The material was provided to the students by the Vidyalaya itself. The students and teacher participated in it with great enthusiasm. They were given full exposure to their art and craft skills. The volunteers from the campus and the cluster KVs also participated and got benefited greatly. Last day i.e. on 14th May 08, the exhibition of all the items of paintings and craft were displayed beautifully. The Chairman (VMC) also visited this workshop on 13th May 08. The Principal Mrs. Ambika Kalra daily supervised the progress of the students in this workshop. She encouraged the students a lot by visiting the workshop over and over again.

The students of Vth class practically arranged a party in their class by preparing three dishes lemonade, aloo chat, and fruit salad. They invited the principal and their class teacher as chief Guests.

My House is like this

A lesson of EVS was observed by the principal. The subject teacher had taken the class to the playground. Students had prepared different kinds of houses. They had also pitched a tent there.
